What would you have missed if you chose not to participate today?

Let’s all challenge ourselves to try something new!  

It began in 2001 with our ask to parents: ‘get out of the stands and onto the field with your child’ (quite literally – we set up archery on the football field at Thompson Valley HS).

Working together to learn new skills gives both children and adults opportunities to learn from each other and, in turn, grow their relationship in a natural yet intentional way. When parents and children work together, both people get an opportunity to observe, instruct, practice, discuss, and learn from each other.

Taking the time to participate in new activities gives participants an opportunity to reflect on their experiences together as well as providing a forum for other relationship-building conversations.
